No you would lose your license for encrypting a message. A true lose lose
situation.

Are there any wireless packet networking possibilities that do not suffer
these sorts of restrictions?

Hi everyone,
Since my last posting I have been on holiday and had the time to do quite a
lot on the bench. This is reflected on the additions to my homepage.
Technical questions? Visit my new Messageboard at:
http://www.InsideTheWeb.com/mbs.cgi/mb426630
There you can ask question of me and others. Perhaps you may have valuable
experience to help others too?
The VHF FM Wireless Microphone has been improved. The v5 version is now more
stable, almost like it was crystal controlled. Up to 1.6Km range and the
modulation sensitivity is such that a simple Electret condenser mic can pick
up a whisper at 5 meters.
There is now a versatile HF QRP CW/FSK transmitter. Output from the board is
+20dBm and the frequency can be moved up to 10KHz on any band with a
fundamental crystal.
I am starting to produce all the PCB's that are featured in the "download"
section, but only those boards that are single-sided. See the "kits" section
for the boards as they become available. This will also include my version
of the ever popular Baycom modem (I have TCM3105 chips too!!).
It is all to be found at:
