Greetings all,
The JNOS 2.0 project is coming along quite well. My name is Maiko Langelaar,
and I started this project back in October. JNOS 2.0 *is* JNOS 1.11f but with
enhancements, bug fixes, resolution of compiler issues, and more. The main
focus of the project sees JNOS being primarily a router for AX25, HF Digital
Modes, and IP, with stuff like the BBS or TCP/UDP services having a very
secondary role. I have just completed very rudamentary support for the SCS
PTCPro modem, allowing HF users to actually connect to a JNOS system, and
users on a JNOS system to connect to other systems via HF as well. Both
the client and server sides are available. Also I have a client that lets
the BBS user make an HF Clover connect to a remote station if the JNOS
system has a HalComm DXP38 attached.
I have added a TUN driver, so for those of you that wish to use TUN as
an alternative to the convention SLIP (slattach) approach, you can now
do this.

You can leave me a packet mail at VE4KLM @ VE4BBS and 'hopefully' it
makes it to me. If you don't get a reply after 1 week, then assume it
got lost. My *other* contact details are on the website.
Best regards,
Maiko Langelaar, VE4KLM
