Chris GM0TQJ has now returned from the Falkland Islands and has no log
record of working any RAFARS Members but conditions to Europe where very
poor throughout his four month stay.

Tuesdays - Feb 12th Apr 22nd Jun 24th Sep 9th and Nov 18th - at 1300hrs
A Field Rep will be invited to each meeting and travel expenses
paid. All members may ask to attend meetings but expenses are not paid.
GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
On 8 Dec., 32 contacts made 30 on 3.710 and 2 DX on 14.015 CW. Conditions
were good and once again we had a QSO with GB2IWM, G3RAF, GB3RN G2AFV and
GI4SAM our regular call in stations. The number of contacts made since the
station opened in Aug 2001 is now 2,500.
GB2RAF should be QRV every 2nd Saturday of the Month 1000-1500 hrs local
on RAFARS frequencies SSB or CW on 80m, or 40m if conditions are poor.

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION/SHUTTLES.
10 Jan Atlantis STS122 was delayed due to fuel fault data read out.
14 Feb Endeavour STS123 to ISS with Kobo Japanese logistics module.
24 Apr Discovery STS124 to ISS with Kobo Japanese logistics module.
07 Aug Atlantis STS125 to Hubble Telescope with 7 crew for last servicing.
18 Sep Endeavour STS126 to ISS with a Multi purpose logistics module.
The ISS should be completed by 2010 and will then act as a stepping stone
to the Moon and then beyond.
All Shuttle Flights are subject to delays.
