I've got a confession to make, I like J S-P.

Yep the weird gawky looking reporter is actually - a good reporter!

During my cyber travels I came across her on Youtube, two documentries
are worth looking at.

Radio Caroline at Sea (LWT)

and

The Year of Punk (LWT).

Both come in about 5 downloadable lumps (use the free Any Video Convertor
if you want to keep them for later use).

Honest no frills non facile reporting and whole programmes from the 1977.

For overseas readers, LWT is London Weekend Television (self explanitory),
and Janet is a weird, and often derided tv reporter who happens to have
an abode in my town ;-)

And Radio Caroline was a radio station on a ship that got around the
problems of broadcasting to the UK during the Stone Age.

This offshore phenomenon was mostly British during the 1960's and
is not really understod outside of the UK.

A recently movie (The Boat that Rocked), I think it was called Pirate
Radio in the USA release portrays this stuff with some artisitic licence.

And guess where most of the action and it's players were based ?

Yep - FTDland ;-)
