If only the above was true !
It appears that Linux systems can give the node list out either sorted by
Alias or by Callsign. I have in the past been plauged by nodelists being
given out in callsign order. Maybe if you logged onto one of these systems
then all would be to your liking.

I don't know how you are going to do it all in Windows, but in DOS it is
a simple matter to transpose a listing by callsign rather than by alias.
How many different ways would you like ?

Using the DOS "SORT" commamd is probably the easiest.
To use the DOS sort command, you will first need to arrange the nodes
listing into one node per line and padded out with blanks to the same
of characters for the alias and all of this saved into a specific file,
let's say called NODES.
So instead of ALV:G6KUI-4 , you have ALV   :G6KUI-4
You then issue the DOS command :-
SORT /+8 NODES > NODES2
and you will get a new file NODES2 with everything sorted by callsign order.
Alternatively just using SORT /+8 NODES will list the nodes list to the
screen in callsign order.
