For the past two weeks I have been using the grey line system that
enhances signal strength when on of the station is in a grey line area
at sun down. Once it was Txema EA2AFR in Spain on 20 meters and another
was with Steve in HI last evening on 40 meters.
In both cases signals were not real good at first, but as a station
passed into the grey line there signal got LOTS STRONGER! I wondered
why and then someone suggested grey line and it clicked.
