Right and this is something that we are trying to instill in ALL our state
emergency managers.

Actually Monday (21 Mar) we will be on 7290 at 13:00 CST)
Tuesday at 08:30 CST on 7285 and at 10:00 on 7290 and at 13:00 on 7290.
On Wednesday (23 Mar) Tuesday at 08:30 CST on 7285 and at 10:00 on 7290

Location will be Waco, Texas

Here's something that we have found. Senior Emergency Management officials like
to receive messages on their cellphones as well as their E-Mail. They just
don't want to be tied to a computer to receive Ecomm or disaster relief information.

Actually, for disaster relief information (that's after the event has passed),
senior managers want to be out in the field NOT at their desk waiting for an E-Mail.

We've thought about trying to get PAD's with sound cards to run gMFSK do a
manager could plug the PAD into a talkie and copy MT63 "messages"

Now days, the Red Cross in the U.S. does have forms for everything and they have
been encouraged to reduce them to HTML and Perl or other CGI forms to access
with a browser. But this isn't a radio operator job.

I have ARRL Message form in HTML and several other formats and I believe that
you can down load them from the ARRL web site.

Before we get to far down the path, MT63 is GREAT for disaster relief and Health
& Welfare communications. However, Health & Welfare communications ARE NOT
EComms or disaster relief communications.

There is an old term called booking messages...were a large number of messages
were sent at one time...this used to be done on RTTY using punched tape and I
think that MT63 is a great candidate to do this.
