I am getting together the equipment to operate mobile MT63 and
Olivia and 13 other modes. I have a mobile HF station in operation now.
It runs 100 watts to a screw driver tuned vertical mounted on the rear
of my Dodge Durango. I get out on SSB and CW very well.
I have a Sony Laptop with Linux and gMFSK software on it that will
operate from the auto battery. I have on order the Little Raskal
interface just ordered. Then I will be in the mode to test the setup.
I seems to me that a mobile communications system is quite valuable
to the Emergency Services Fields. It should be easy to test file transfer.
