There are some things about Olivia that make me think it can operate
under adverse band conditions better than MT63. Olivia is newer and it's
baud rate is much slower than MT63.
I am using gMFSK under Linux and I can change from MT63 to Olivia in
about a minute. The software change is a second, but I need to adjust
the power out with the sound card audio gain.
I want to find someone who can do the same thing and we can get
together on 7105.5 KHz and run some tests and that person needs to live
about 1000 miles from New Mexico. This will give us a chance to compare
these modes under poor conditions.
