I went to Mark Millar's web page and found this "definition" I got
directly from the web page:

*crest factor:* The peak-to-rms voltage ratio of an
alternating current (ac) signal
<http://www.its.bldrdoc.gov/projects/devglossary/_signal.html>.
[T1.401-1988]

I am an Electrical Engineer and I recall this thing Crest Factor in
AC Machines. It was important because insulation needed to be capable of
working at the peak value. This has nothing at all to do with MT63.
