I'm really reluctent to continue this, but for the sake of accurate 
information, right across the North Sea from you, Finland allows 8khz 
wide HF bandwidths (digital or otherwise), where as what the ARRL is 
proposing is to restrict U.S. digital to only 3khz bandwidth. That is 
hardly a "USA only backdoor big signal system".

I'm assuming with the "G" call you'd know what your neighbors are up 
to, but if not, there it is. In reality, regardless of the FUD you 
have heard here, the ARRL is trying to reduce the bandwidth available 
to U.S. amateurs for experimentation, not increase it.
