With all due respect, give it up. Those on here that know, already
know. Those that don't, they have already made their minds up. At
least Brian gave me the courtesy of informing me he would delete and
not read any more of my posts. They should at least extend the same
courtesy to you.

As I can gather, they just want to be able to operate CW/PSK31 and
have their rag chews. But the funny thing is no-one would take that
away from them! Best I can figure, it is a human tribal thing,
anything they can't or don't want to understand, even if it doesn't
bother them, they want to ban it.

Good news is, from what I have seen the FCC is fairly progressive.
The whole commercial world is going to wider bandwidth digital
modulation schemes in mass, so we have that on our side. The bad news
is if these luddites get organized, they can slow the advancement of
the state of the art down, or at least clog the rule making progress
up.

The thing I am really scratching my head about, is the absurdity of
meeting this kind of resistance to wide digital modes on the MT63
list. This is almost the last place I would have expected it. Maybe
we need a 50hz wide MT63 mode? (just kidding)
