In the moment i am running the MSYS BBS PROGRAM, on the PACTOR MODE into
VHF PACKET, with auto forwarding on both modes,except on the pactor mode,
i issue the forwarding manualy, to make sure i am not jumping and transmit
on stations that they already using the frq's..The band i am using is the
20m band on PACTOR and the 2m band on VHF PACKET..
The system is working extremly well...
Now i just installed an extra 2 comports in my IBM CLONE 486-SX 33, with there
own seperate IRQ's address and all..So i am already sure that there is no
conflict inbetween the ports...Also the computer, when you check with a prog
to ask it how many comports it have it will tell you that it have 4 com ports,
Like COM 1 3f8 int (IRQ 5), COM 2 2f8 int (IRQ 7), COM 3 3e8 int (IRQ 4) and
COM 4 2e8 int (IRQ 3)...
Now as far as i know with the MSYS BBS prog you can RUN 7 ports from 0 to 6,
7 TNC's and 7 Radio's,is that Right ???
Now in the moment i have my MSYS.OPT look like this...
PORT 0 AT $3f8 int 5 SPEED 9600 NAME PACTOR_20M RADIOSPEED 300 TNCTYPE 5
PORT 1 AT $2f8 int 7 SPEED 9600 NAME 157.575 RADIOSPEED 1200 TNCTYPE 0
and ofcourse the rest of the setup, and it working great as i just mentioned.
Now i have been trying to add an other KAMPLUS TNC on COM 3 of the computer
and port 2 of the program, by in the MSYS.OPT i add the line under the port
1 as follows...
PORT 2 AT $3e8 int 4 SPEED 9600 NAME PACTOR_80M RADIOSPEED 300 TNCTYPE 5
more or less just dublicate PORT 0, because all i want is an other PACTOR
PORT on 80m..
But i can not get the BBS side of it to work properly, and also it dose upset
the Forwarding a little..
But in the other hand i can connect manualy from that port (PORT 2) ok to
other PACTOR MBO's and BBS, and download data with no problems..
But if a user connect to my 80m port, he get a connect ok, but what happens
the MSYS SYSTEM gives him as far as the LETTERS STRING and drops the link
on both sides like someone switched off both radio's...
I am new to this program, can anyone please let me know it what i want to do
can be done,and if it can be done i appretiate some assistance very much..
I read the MSYS DOCs over and over again, and either i am blind or it dose
not say anything about how to set other ports apart from the normal 2...
