HI ALL,
        Thank you for reading this bulletin !!!

Here is a brief command's summery of how to operate the MSYS BBS on CONNECT
whether it is on PACTOR or VHF PACKET, at VK5RQ BBS, 20m 14.075, 2m on 147.575
via VK5ANV in ADELAIDE S.AUSTRALIA..

On your first time connect, the bbs will ask you to log in... by doing it as
follows, and every command you give the BBS the BBS will give the Lettering
promt for the next one till you do the 4 of the, THE N,NQ,NZ and NH..
type in line.

N = name ( YOUR NAME )

NQ = QTH ( YOUR HOME QTH eg: COOBOWIE S.AUST. )

NZ = ZIPCODE ( ZIPCODE eg: 5583 )

NH = YOUR HOME BBS ( THE BBS YOU ALWAYS USE eg: VK5WI )

After you done that, and you get the lettering promt..

You can look for bulletins, whether is KEPS, AMSAT,YAESU,ICOM KENWOO,
ect.ect.
By type and send LC to the BBS, it will give you all the CATEGORIES listed on
the BBS..
Then you chose,a category by type and send eg: L KEPS, by doing that all
categories under the name KEPS it will be listed to you with the HEADER
NUMBER..
Then you can read them by the numbers of your choice..
Also if you type R KEPS, all bulletins under the KEPS NAME will be listed to
you and you can capture..
Also you can type LL 10 that means LIST LAST 10 MESSAGES/BULLETINS..
Again you can down load them by type R # of the bulletins..

On the VHF side of it, once you log in properly,next time you connect, it
will give you the bulletins categories on connect automatically from there on.

ON Pactor you have to, you have to type LC or LL # every time that to save
time, being a 300 baud HF..

Sending of mail to anywhere is normal like an FBB run BBS..

EG: SP VK5RQ @ VK5RQ.#ADL.#SA.AUS.OC
SUBJECT
Messages and so on with the /ex or ctrl-Z to finalize the message.

Also to send BULLETINS is the SAME WAY, but instead of using the SP you use
SB, and make sure where you want to send that bulletin to, eg: @WW,
@VKNET,@AMSAT,@ARRL, and so on...

For further info type H for help to list the commands list,but some of those
command are not in operation, such as YAPP download, it has been switched
off.

                                      73's Regards JOE VK5RQ@VK5RQ..
