For those running MSYS under DOS 6.22 and manually deleting the files in
the MAIL.BAK subdirectory, the following bat file will save a lot of time.
In addition, if left as is, it will run the scandisk and defrag utilities
also, then reboot. If your autoexec.bat file loads MSYS you can run this
bat file, and walk away from it.
deltree /y C:\msys\mail.bak
md C:\msys\mail.bak
deltree /y C:\logs
md C:\logs
copy C:\msys\*.* C:\msysbak
cd\
scandisk /autofix /nosave /surface /nosummary
defrag C: /f /b
