I am typing this on a typical PC. Made of bits I stuck together from
obsolete PCs and therefore cheaper but otherwise perfectly normal.
It is running Windows ME.
I amusing bog standard Winpack to type with (telnet version) while
listening to a selection of tracks by the Troggs, my favourite, via
Windows
Media Player and two small stereo speakers. The tracks are recored to
C:\documents\music so I can still use my CD and DVD players.
I can minimise this prog and maximise WMP so I have two windows on the
desktop and change mz selection if I want.
This sounds verz like multi tasking which I thought Windows couldnt do, at
least, according to the many manuals for Linux which I have bought.
BTW. Is Linux available with a wizard yet. If so, does that slow it down?
All the best from - Ian, G0TEZ @ GB7FCR
