Hello.

I'm active on 2M SSB and have noticed alot of stations using MS (Meteor
Scatter) on the DX cluster.

Hey hey, looks like fun. I would like to give this mode a try butI think
i will need a wee bit of help.

I'm a fast learner so should not burden anyone that much. The info that
would really help is of Cream Egg variety, how do you do it?

Lets start here. I have an IC-706 MkII, 150W amp and a 17 ele tonna beam.
What do I do with it to work MS? Which way to I point the beam for best
results, what frequency do I listen on and usually how long? How do I
know when I RX signals. Do I require software, I'd imagine I would.

So when you are working MS how do you do it? What frequency do you tune
to? How have you got your radio setup? What do you use to TX/RX signals?

All help is greatfully recieved.

Cheers...
