Hi Bob and all,

My ribbons have come undone? When are they ever DONE? Er no, the Gahn has
been on the line since it was pulled by a steam engine and has gone
through many changes. You may be thinking of the "new Gahn", a prettier
locomotive and refurbished rolling stock that went into service a few
years ago. I'm not sure of the dates so I can't say whether she rode that
one or the "old" one, the timing of her visit was too close to tell from
this perspective. Er, maybe you can help out, before or after the
eclipse? They ran a special with one of the older units and shortly after
changed the paint scheme. Oh, the station at Gawler West got a face lift
at the time, I wonder why. (;->)

Of course she traveled by air, would you expect the QUEEN to swim? That's
for commoners (and some who take Google's directions seriously).
