Hi Barry and all,
Oh no, I'm not upset at all. I just set the record straight believing
what you wrote to be a bit misleading. That too is understandable being
those reports (Continental isn't the only flying cattle car) are
misleading in themselves. Like much transport these days they were way
too slow to change with the times and keep up with demand so now they're
all in trouble from cars to trams from trains to planes. I write in
generalities so like they say in the commercials, your actual milage may
vary.
Hey, when was the last time you saw a plane full? That's a hoot, from
what I hear not being a flyer myself most are just about deadheading. On
the other hand trains around here are doing rather well and are packed at
peak periods. The only deadhead comes down to Bayhead in the middle of
the night and parks in the yard, first out in the morning when everybody
wants to go to New York. (;->)
