Hello Bob,
       It was not me that said natural gas powered buses would be dangerous.
What I did say was that hydrogen powered busses would need special places to be parked due to gas leakage.

There are a couple of hundred natural gas buses in Sydney with more on the way.
I was told by my son's father in law of Dennis fame that contaomination accumalates in natural gas tanks and need to be purged regulary.
Dennis are manufacturing hybrid busses which it appears have been quite
sucessful.

They experimented with hydrogen fuel cells but they were too expensive for
normal bus fleet use.
