Well six or seven service stations have closed in this town in the past
few years but it was not through a shortage of fuel. IT was through the
competition from haivng too many stations in the first pace. Caltex, Sheel
and BP seem to be the sirvivors except for a couple of independents. Two
24/7 service outlets just about put the seal on it.
However there are still more than enough outlets and I have never seen one
with a closed bowser through lack of fuel. I would say the main reason for
that would be a transport problem.
