For what it is worth...The original VW Beetle Bug is produced
in Brazil where it is loved and known as the "Fusta-car" but
I thing VW has nothing to do with it, as they sort of franchised
it. Oh course their factorys are having labour problems, and
there are closures, and thats where the original bugs have
been coming from, after a takeover....

My friend at the University has one, and there are enough on
the road down there.

As for elections...well yes any country could have elected
anyone give the circumstances and right conditions at the
time. What is so obvious is that WE all elect or allow to
be elected Lawyers who seem to thik they know law..or what
would make a better law YET...they pass laws that only
generate more business for their industry..as well themselves
when they leave office and go back to their professional
life....to perhaps become judges.

Germany is currently buying gas from the same place they
contracted when it was done via the old USSR. I will not
be moaning, they are also getting via the deal another
marketplace for German products, and now all these places
are now joining or seeking close association with EU, that
the future looks interesting.

No ...I will let our resident OZZIE have a crack at it.
