Hi All,
Is there any specific scientific way of working out the exact equivalent

of carbon emission for various fuels? Ny local energy supplier has a chart

on the quarterly bill and the figures seem a little bit rubbery.

I have done the maths to work out the ratio between the amount of carbon I

am supposed to have emitted per megajoule of natural gas used and each
time
the calculated figure varies by significantly more than what I would
expect
as "round off error"

The same applies to my electricity bill.

Maybe the figures shown are only made up by the suppliers?

                                 Regards Tony VK3API
