Hello fellow horseless charioteers and fillers of the home fuel tanks
for the home heating of the Q-Tee-Hests :)
Last time, when there was a little downward spike, for some reason
never figured out, the price at the fuel pumps jumped up...go figure?
In the last few days, and watching the crude oil on the exchange
and area pumps, I find we have dropped like a rock...with regular
fuel at CDN$ 1.13.9/litre and guesswhat...it is continueing to drop.
Strange.
I also went to get Oil for the Furnace, and figured out my bill
based upon the number of litres I would use to a certain date
and what I would want in resreve..and guess what... the total
bill was CDN$ 200.00 less then my calculations. I am still
in review of my figures there BTW, and looking thru bills of
years gone by to get a better picture.
Then one night via radio, an interesting comment that gas might
or is forcast to drop to CDN$ .99 /litre ... which makes me wonder?
Yes WHY?
I have some ideas why, but well I am still looking into my fuel oil
as I would do onboard ship. Of course there diesel fuel is another
story, nearing par with gas prices which is hilarious. Thank goodness
for sails.
No hybrid car yet. Lots of folks here have them now, and are liking
them and plug them in each night ... Time will tell what future all
that has...but it is better then when my father and family dabbled in
it back in the 1940s.
