No , it was the Oldsmobile rocket 455 motor. But then it was
a Canadian version so who knows what you guys got? Rocket engine?
Yeah...get into the hils and deeper in gullys and zero reception.
I can not remember the 540 from Canada..only CKEY 590 still there
as well Buffalo around 550.

NO it was a cheapo 440 4bbl and it looked like with the ones they
traded in like the mechancs just opened the hood, and that was
that. A few years later, they traded them in and well the engines
were missing and popping and under the hood, if a mechanic did anything
it must have just open the hood, look like he was busy, and collect
his pay for non-service.
The American version, was better then what they sold up here. I saw
a few of them, but well dealing with Americans, was different then
dealing with Canadian Government and departments, and they wanted
cheap so we sent them cheap.
I liked your friend's song. Yeah .. can relate to it here, as Maria
gets a kick outta how I smell out cop cars. Of course these days
they have other reasons to stop me now. On the lake they gave
up after the last engagement, as I pointed to the glass pilothouse
door, and then direct behind that a tow ...and pointed out how
illegal their boat was.
They have a neat hobby now of sitting off the shore, and via
the electronics listening to what people on boats are saying,
and this is a cue for them to swoop ... BUT then I make terrible
chatter for them onshore, and comments they don't like when I
have my long range glasses fixed on'em. It cause them to
move off and away....as they don't like me talking about them.
What is great is when they look away from someone to me on shore.
