Hi Ian, and F1 Electric on the way fans;

I am not an F1 fan either.  I can take it all or leave it...mostly
I leave it.   Always a race on the highways, and here and there
entertainment.

I saw Michael Schumaker was back too, but looks like when he gets
on the news, to be a tired man.   I don't think I would have
like he did a comeback to something like that, needing youth.

I see as you mention  Li ion batteries and a pit stop for replacement
of the power cells, that our pal in the US, is elbowing you
with the idea of very long races, and hotels to be built for the
number of days these races might take to complete.

I say ... lets see.

Certainly points to as you say...a quiet race.

As for distances,  I think it is about 1000km or more to Indiana
which I did nonstop.   Did it coming home, and slept for days
receovering.    I will have to check on a map and let you know
in miles.   Thats how I measure it out.   600miles nonstop.
Time is about 8 - 10 hours.
