Hi Pete and any others.
I am not obsessed with formula one, I keep hoping that Michael Schumaker,
the 7 times world champin who made a come back will do well but it doesn't
seem to be happening. He is an old man now at 43 and looks like retiring
at the end of this year.
There are some very light Li ion batteries but, I still think it might be
a case of a pit stop for a quick battery change. It will certainly sound a
lot different with almost silent cars instead of engines screaming at
20,000 rpm.
We'll see.
I forget the sheer distances you have to drive, my trips have been to
Cornwall and over to paris but the longest was 1000 miles down to the
Spanish border but you will no doubt go a lot further.
