Hi Pete and... ?
Where is everybody? Anyway, you discovered "penny politics" and frankly
I'm shocked too, the price of something went DOWN??? <gasp>
It took a moment to recover from THAT one but in the case of oil driven
markets price is ultimately driven by politics I really don't have to
explain so the two subjects fit together. Well, it's like Poor Richard
aka Ben Franklin said; a penny saved is a penny earned. Keep dropping
them in your sporran and you'll have enough for a haggis.
As for politics, like Ian for the most part I leave it alone for the same
reason, it comes down to lack of news and I don't have time to go on line
and read every e-paper that comes down the pike. One slight exception is
Frog Wars, one of my "spies" in the land down under provides the
ammunition and I provide the frogs. Speaking of Mr. B, he's around via
the occasional e-mail for a friendly chat but with little to nothing of
interest here of late on the BBS he's yet to make an appearance.
Just one small correction, nobody's stuck with party affiliation, it's
purely voluntary and always subject to change. If you really want to see
an uproar watch a Congress critter jump ship and swim to the other side.
We have more than two parties BTW, I call them secret societies because
they seldom rise to the fore and incidentally regardless of the names
they're Socialist.
Oh, careful with that "time for meds" thing... (;->)
