Such an eventuality is a pretty remote possibility after Iraq and
Afghanistan. In any case much of the fuel in my state is produced and
refined here. Unfortunately one PM Malcolm Frazer decided to tax it
heavily to keep up to the world parity price and to encourage further
exploration.
