Hi Pete and all,

Yup, drivers often name their trucks etc. and back in the days when
independents were king I saw some very interesting nose art right up
there with the classic WW2 military aircraft. Now you have me curious
about the first name for the Yellow Submarine that never made it. (;->)

What I meant by "your mileage may vary" is Canadian insurance
classifications may not be the same as in the US, while most countries
are similar there are a few small differences. I guess you didn't connect
the phrase to new car TV ads, it's a rather clever disclaimer.

Oh yeah, there's a whole world of vehicles that can go off road and a
world of idiots who take them to places that would scare the wits out of
me. They're easily recognized having a scrap yard at the bottom and a
landing pad for medivac helicopters.

Heh, tire studs, snowmobile tracks and various flying bits can make you
feel like you're driving in a war zone, thank legal common sense for
eliminating it on NJ roads and wherever applicable. Then too you won't
find snowmobiles at the shore but in summer we have those evil jet skis.
(;->)

Right about Australia, urban areas and connecting highways are one thing
but in the Outback the best road you can find is a dirt track, there
without a proper 4WD travel is impossible. Ray VK2TV told me about his
Ute and primitive navigation system (a compass) and land surveying with
the only track around was the tire tracks of the Ute.

Mo-bubble? Oh no, sounds like a brand of bubble bath. I'll leave you with
some classic Bob Dylan; Oh, mama, could this be the end? To be stuck
inside a mobile with a busted mic again.
