Hello Ian and other road warriors at the motion lotion corral....

I wetn up on a Thursday night and got Super Premium for CDN$ 1.12:5/litre
with a octane rating of 91. For Regular the bottom and cheapo stuff
Octane rating is 87.

I hope that helps in comarison in UK as I think the Pound is worth
CDN $ 1.50 here ...not sure, as well never had the chance to go to
UK..and then might get thrown out for being a rebel.

I wonder what the rate will go to , now UK has it seems left the
EU. There were not too happy faces there, and the banks over
here only got innvolved thru the help of the UK as one of the 27
member nations and not the eurozone 7 ... which has now increased.

The USA Big Four or three now... are all ... well saved from bankrupcy
by the US and Canadian Governments...so , ok in that period smaller
European such as "what" came there, also they brought shares in
GM, FORD or CHRYSLER and are selling here...but then comes winter
and lets face it... "F"ix "I"t "A"gain "T"ony and the rest are
no match for pickups or the others here. Easy parts, and repair.
Best news...they start.

The "Yellow Submarine" runs on ....hmmm... <<CLASSIFIED>>
and then my sailboat runs on AIR, and I hope MDI has a marine
engine too...as I have lots of diesel fuel at the end of the
year, as well full gas tanks....which reminds me of the rubber
gas cells in racing... in a crash they never ruptured or burned
and I have one of those in the boat too for aux-engine...but
never used.

> p.s. The MDI site quoted a 300 km on a tank/cylinder of air,

If as they say it has an onboard compressor for filling the tank
where no filling station is available, then that might be interesting
as to tank to tank = cost. OR onboard compressor operation plugged
in to AC or... running DC from the car..and the strength of the
battery ...OR at the filling station here, to inflate tires they
charge CDN$ .25 for a few minutes < I don't use them..our station
I use is FREE to inflate tires >.

> That will be up to individual governments to decide.

There is NO doubt the loss of revenue from taxes on Gasoline or
petrol at the pumps is being talked about. How to get our cut?
They might just add it to the calculated price of the car a fuel
tax or year tax...etc... some wonderful calculation.

Aaah crap...I am not giving them ideas... NOT me... next they will
be charging me for sailing, like per mile or whatever.

That is a great point Ian ... and I wonder how many will pick up
on it? If the Governments can not tax gas-petrol as it disappears
then with new technology, how will they makeup for it?

73 Pete VE3WBZ

PS: Thank Goodness Torpedoes use electrive engines ...

                    OR

PS: Yellow Submarine is still in service thru the Winter
