Hi Bob and Warren etc;
Thank you Bob for finding which cities use hydrogen fuelled busses.
London came as no surprise but I thought we might have a few more.
Still London gets everything and the rest of the UK comes later.
Having said that, we have had the Manchester Metro; high speed tram system
which has been expanding over the years as well as the Docklands Light
Railway, an autonomous system in London/Both go back over 20 years as do
the numerous wind farms which I mentioned in another bull.
It doesn't surprise me that Warren can't find up tp date technology in the
US. They are a long way behind the rest of the world in a lot of things.
That's why I was smiling at Obama's State of the Union address. Much
bragging about all the things he was going to do, most of which have been
around in other countries for decades.
E.G. One which nobody has mentioned was Brazil with it's use of alcohol
fuelled cars for the last 40 years now. They are working on other fuels as
well now and have been for a while.
Here is something to look for with your search engines (I won't advertise
Google by using it as a verb!) thry looking up the BRIC countries. They
will be the next big economic power. US economists are currently trying to
destroy the Euro, having failed with NAFTA but they sould be looking at
the other monetary unions.
I forsee a time when BRIC will frighten the USA as much as the USSR did in
times gone by - I doubt I will live to see it but fingers crossed.
