Hi Pete and all,
Eh, Bob would be the expert on gas bags... ask him.
As for the pests on the Hatian quake, in my situation I'm deaf to it all
except the nonsense on a few internet forums. Good for the lulz but
little else. Stanley Steamer? Oh they're still around... on QRZ dot
Commie, more lulz.
The coal fire began in one of the banks above a mine in Shamokin and is
still shamokin away, far away. The burning bank was a local legend until
it burnt out, now the fire is world renown.
Now you're off on race cars, makes no sense to me to use a gas turbine
when a straight out jet is the hot item at the track. (Pun intended.) I
don't know the output of the one in question but as far as burned out
clutches are concerned they ALL burn out and are only used once. I guess
when you put the equivelent of a locomotive engine in a car something's
gonna give! Yeah, 1200hp makes a road switcher go.
That car with the RATO pack is some kind of ledgend never confirmed. The
Myth Busters had an episode on it, their car got some hellified speed but
taking off is another matter unless it had wings, that part was busted.
Speaking of which Fat Albert won't be spouting flames on takeoff this
year, the AF ran out of RATO packs and no more are being made. Oh he'll
fly alright come show time but won't be standing on his tail.
Mo bubble, motion lotion, at least they have SOME idea what you're on
about but any more of those old CB truckie phrases will have them
confused and with all the targets my frogs will lose their sense of
direction. So, the PO finally found you out there on the lakeshore half
buried in white stuff. No wonder it's called snail mail, frozen snails do
not move. What goes on behind the scenes and most don't know is while
they're complaining about the roads the railroads have ground to a halt.
After the last big one it was days before many lines were opened and
industry backed up the wazoo, then there were trains stuck out in the
middle of nowhere and even the power sent to assist got stuck! If you
think digging your car out is a pain try digging out a freight train!
