Is it? I thought the big problem is that we are running out of oil?

If you wish to reduce pollution use LPG in the motor vehicles.. There is
plenty of the stuff available. CNG is another possibility and there is
plenty of that around too. We are sending huge quantities to China but not
using much ourselves.

A certain green lobby uses whatever it can to make a case. Some is true
and some seems to me to be exaggeration or at best based on faulty
figures. I saw in the TV news a boat of protesters apparently sail
deliberately across the bows of a Japanese whaler which cut it in half.
The whalers are getting the blame, but who was really at fault? Not so
sure that it was the whalers.

If our green lobby here gets its own way we will be up for horrendous cost
increases to even exist. Good one, Bob Brown.You tell a good story.Got
your horse ready? You won't be able to afford to run a car.Or perhaps a
bicycle. No it takes industry to build those. More pollution.

Cheers,
Bob VK6BE.

>At least we all agree that this whole thing is aimed at reducing
pollution which is all well and good but at what cost?
