Hi Barry and all,
You overlooked one vital factor, pricing has brought about a glut due to
decreased consumption which really put the oil companies in a tizzy.
Refneries are being shut down, we have so much we just don't know what to
do with it so perhaps someone would buy our surplus and put those people
back to work? Oil isn't the driving force behind the GDP but only a small
factor so don't let them mislead you with coincidental "cause and
effect". The issues are far to complex for the average individual to
understand, even economists have trouble with it and moving into a global
economy it only gets worse. The bottom line is those who will deceive you
get you focused so you overlook the big picture, the age old forest and
trees bit.
