Good Morning Bob...or whatever the time of day you get to
packet..... Good to hear Australia is Nuclear free actually
I only said it, because someone told me this, and well
with having to store the spent stuff.... it just seems
we live in fear of leaks at these nuke storage sites
which take this spent fuel...so ????
As for the solar panels, and windmills, our native people
on Georgina Islands First Nations, are palnning such a
project. They get enough sunlight and wind to make
it interesting.

I know Ontario still is mining, and looking for more,
and several news items about people and their propertys
being effected due to claims being staked....legal...
and what can happen. I think now they are amending
the law.

I am of the view to look around for alternatives before
the use of nuclear. Too many sites here in question.
Yes, the day of Fossil fuels is coming near, and whatever
is left is dear in price. $ .93 point 6 ...I think
higher this morning.

I guess Bob, that makes me too an opponent, and I think
with just cause, with having to live in Ontario and see
what goes on at our closest plant...as well sites that
are or were supposed to be secure for the storage of
this stuff.
The accidents cited are not just small happenings, and
don't just blow over. The plain truth Bob, is they
really don't know what to do with this stuff.
How many known hotspots do you know of? I know a few.
Then look at the effects in term of years, and the people
amd then I will hope you can see , perhaps, why there are
those against this. Decades ago ...and still seeing
the results.

Years ago and still on the books, YES a man was required to
walk in front of the vehicle to warn the common transport of
the day...a rider on a horse or horsedraw buggy or wagon
of the approach of the vehicle, and still today in areas
of Ontario, we have the same, and some of us....not all
of us exercise caution when approaching a rider on a horse
or pulling a wagon.

Just on a note of Nuclear whatever... the first pile from
which our first Atom Bomb came from is still HOT and dangerous
and will be for the next 1000 years.
We also have enough rivers and falls, and sites producing
Hyro Electricity...yet the rates climb, and then too these
Ontario Nuke sites that are one moment online, the next
offline, and having to spent taxpayers money to repair so
we get this wonderful benefit, and here and there a few
alarms go off ....my neighbour races to work...or lives
there....makes great money.....but then....RISK.
YES Bob, and readers, I am not a fan of Nuke Power.
50miles north of one of these....and less then that
from a few storage sites, and also seen, and noted the
claims made by locals and the Anti-Nuke Organizations.
Regards to all ..
