Just ead about your comments on the algae pond the size of
Ireland? Ok ..yeah...why not. Maybe might fit inside Texas.
Anyhow ... whats this, about the Indians perferring the birch bark
canoe? I haven't seen too many of them, as the lads on the
Island have all metal boats, and they have enough fibreglass...
but no birch bark.
My pal who is Chippewa, told me, that they were easy to work on
but that was long ago, and just as easy to burst into flames too!
Hmmm ... that reminds me ...oh yeah...here it is ...yep a birch
log and this bark is the native fire starter.... Bottomline
do not smoke or have an open flame in a Birch Bark Canoe.
Bob mostlikely wants a metal canoe, so that the Great White Shark
will be snarled with the metal canoe, or the river crock while
he sets a record swimming for the shore.

Sunny here, and I have to get outside, and see if I can get my
HF antenna up. Just found out, that I might be joining many
elderly hams that due to medical problems ....rule out me doing
any tower climbing...safety belt or no safety belt.
