This is because of a high tech management system.
There I've fixed that for you Harry. It's because the engine management
system is so advanced it can alledgedly reduce the petrol consumption. As
far as the EMS knows, the power output is more than the injector volume
mapping says it should be. So it backs off the injection volume. Wouldn't
work with a carb.
I've had a read about this Browns Gas, seems to be written mainly by
charlatans and numbtards.
If it worked it would be fitted to your car by the maker. Why? Well it
would enable them to reduce emissions, you'd pay less tax and would buy
their car. If they get better fuel economy they can meet government fuel
economy figures easier. It would be win-win-win-win-win for the
manufacturers. Ask yourself why cars come with spacesaver tyres now? Ask
yourself why makers user 0w-30 oil and not 20-50? It's all to improve fuel
economy. If this was cost effective it would be standard on high-end cars
now and due for bottom end models soon.
