I realise your tongue was in your cheek but.........
Some brands of Motorcycle have been doing this in a small way for years...
According to the advertising blurb they have a ramscoop on the cylinder
head and as the cold air passes through the fins (heatsink) it is heated
and gains energy which is directed through a smaller vent at the rear of
the cylinder scoop at a higher velocity and assists the forward motion of
the bike. Sort of like a ram jet engine
Don't ask me how much extra energy you get to assist with propulsion, it
sounds a bit far fetched to me.
