Hi everyone:

The mir crew will be docking Thursday am (april 6, 2000).
Some time after the docking and unpacking, etc. the Mir crew
will activate the amateur radio station.
Mir crew member Aleksander Kalari is a very experienced ham.
I had the pleasure of teaching him how to use the SSTV system
and the Kenwood TM-V7 Mir radio during a training session in Star City
Russia.

I am very interested to hear when the first ham signals from
space station Mir begin.

Frequency 145.985 FM Simplex.

good luck
