Hi Folks....
Can anyone PLEASE help?!!!! I have left messages to various stations who
inform us of their experience of working R0MIR. My messages are asking
for help on how to work MIR, but I have never had any reply whatsoever
from any of them, and before anyone asks yes my mail is being forwarded
okay. I always thought that Amateur Radio was all about sharing info
etc., obviously not when it comes to satellite working etc.
If there is anyone descent enough out there to kindly give me some advice
on working MIR then it really would be greatly appreciated. I have tried
to connect on packet to the MIR PMS but have only had a couple of goes, it
does respond to me with the busy message so I know that it can hear me.
The thing is I am not sure what one can do once connected. Can we leave
messages, speak to the cosmonauts...or what? I don't really want to
connect if I am not sure of what to do, after all it would be unfair to
hog the PMS if there is someone else whom wishes to connect who knows
exactly what to do.
Now I don't think that I am asking for a lot here!, just some little help
and advice. Those stations that I have contacted for help may read
this....you know who you are....THANKS A BUNCH GUYS for showing me the
true spirit of Amateur Radio....NOT!
