Hi,
Many thanks in advance for reading this Bulletin.
In October 1998 and January 1999 I sent off for a Mir QSL card from :-
Radio Club "F5KAM - QSL Manger de "R0MIR"
" Carrefour International de la Radio"
22, Rue BANSAC - 63000 - CLERMONT-FERRAND - FRANCE
Being perhaps a little impatient I sent out a bulletin on packet wondering
how long it would take for my Mir QSL cards to arrive. The replies that I
received varied from 4 Weeks to 6 Months, now that's quite a time window.
Eight Months has passed now and I still haven't received my QSL cards
and was wondering if anyone knew the BBS of F5KAM so I could leave
him a message on packet ?
I know that QSL card Managers have lives outside radio and may I say the
service they provide is very much appreciated, but wouldn't it be nice to
be given an expected arrival date, and updated on packet, not the internet,
if some kind of delay occurs. I say this with regards to the Sputnick-41
(RS-18) QSL card that myself and other stations are still waiting for.
