} Hello I have an MFJ 1276 Packet Controller which is set for 19.2k. I wish
} to change the baud speed to 1200 baud but not sure how to do this. Do you
} know which dip switches need to be changed at the back of the controller
} and does the shorting strip on jumper 18 on the board need to be changed,
} at the moment the shorting stirp is across pins 2 and 3. I think.
} Thank you for any advise you can give.

Hi John,
May be the 1276 is the same as the 1270b, if so, the baudrates are set via a
bank of 8 dip switches on the rear.

They should number left to right looking at the tnc from the rear, making
sure the tnc is the right way up hi. Bin caught with that one myself. Those
settings should give you a serial port baudrate of 9600 and a radio baudrate
of 1200. The serial port baudrate should normally exceed the radio baudrate.
