Hello Bryan,
Forget about the TNC and come into the modern digital age. (;->)
Everything is now software driven via the computer's sound card. There
are many fine programs available for download from the Internet, some of
which include ALL the modern digital modes as well as some of the oldies
like RTTY and SSTV. They have some nice on screen graphics for fine
tuning and other neat stuff to make the job go easily.
I must admit, my MFJ 1270 TNC still works flawlessly for packet radio.
