HI!

Thanks for reading this message.
I bought a few days the MFJ9600B modem to put on my 1278B and
i'm having some trouble to solve a problem. The manual of the
new modem says that after removing the jumpers of the 20 pin
header J4, pin 1 and 2 should not be shorted but they are. I
took the whole 1278b mother board out to check if there was
a bad solder but could not find anything. These 2 pins are for
the DCD output (1) and for DCD input (2) and when the modem is
installed i loose reception in all modes.

The version of the my 1278b motherboard is 10

Any comments or suggestion will be very appreciated.

Sorry to this poor english

Thanks,

73's de Carlos, pu2woo
