Hallo YL /OM and tnx for reading this msg !

I experience following problem with my 949e tuner.
When trying to tune I can obtain 1:1 SWR on all bands on my LoopSkywire antenne
fed by open wire. The indicated forward power outout on the tuner is however
giving me a wrong (always too low; mostly abt 50 % of real P) reading. The
reflected indication is correct, as checked with a precise SWR / P meter.
An E-Mail to MFJ produced me with a procedure to re-calibrate the tuner; this
however was not necessary and the faulty indication remains.
The fault seems to be non-linear in the forward power indication only. By
reversing the 2 wires on the meter I could find out that the meter itself was
not at fault.
Is there anybody out there who can help me out on this one ? Again, the tuner
is working fine but only the forward P indication is too low. Before I start
changing diodes ( 2 1N34A's) or Cap's I would like some advice.

Many tnx for yr reply !
