Hi there and thanks for reading this message. In about a week, I will be
receiving for FREE (LUCKY MAN THAT I AM), a MFJ 1278. My brother in law, who is
giving it to me, has only the 1278 and no software, manuals or any other info
on the unit. I am sure that it is'nt the latest version, as this one has a
black case with a silver face on it. What I would like to know, is can anybody
give me any info on this unit/tell me if it requires special software/where I
can get hold of some sort of manual for it. Your help in this matter would be
