Ahoy BRENT wherever you are? Either on the Catalina parked at the dock.,
Or out racing his new Hobie Kat somewhere in Calfornia? And to all...
Well I am near the end of the season...lake levels dropping...people at the
harbour just scurrying here and there looking to be hauled out, thus ending
the sailing season. The owner of the 25ft Bayfield I have the loan of,
has had bad luck not selling the boat, as well even getting up to enjoy
the season. He tells me that at the end of this week, he is heading
for his point of haulout...thus the season ends :(
Can not help but notice yesterday, the winds, while light, were coming
in from all directions. It however seemed it was coming from the south
and I guess I was proven right, when the weather man called for temperatures
today feeling like 30c. For this time of year in Ontario...it is supposed
to be nice and cool...with cold winds from the Nor-West.
Anyhow...hope everyone is still sailing...and I am missing the postings
from those of us who spend our time on the H2O.
