Are there any hams out there building any 2.4Ghz 5Ghz or 90Mhz
High speed mesh networks? We have a small one built here in
Las Vegas, Nevada and are working to expand it. Some of the most
interesting things we are discussing is the sharing of resources
over the mesh such as packet nodes via AGWPE Packet Engine. Also
some of the hams are linking their bpq and other routers via the
high speed mesh to keep the traffic load off of the packet nets.
Our thoughts are that combining the mesh with the traditional
packet resources can lead to a very robust network all around.
