Hello Everyone ...
Been reading, with interest some local escapes to @WW from
posters who wanted their postings to remain @GBR or other.
I am, because I am a user on a Landline Fido Network BBS,
interested in the new topic there World Health Care, their
Plans, the International rankings of countrys that have
a National Health Plan, the WHO < World Health Organization>
and of course watching south of the border some of the
concerned comments of those , for and against a National
Health Plan for the USA.
By the callsign <g> yes I am in CANADA. Our National
Health Plan was the result of a private member's bill
passed in our Parliament, which gave the implimentation
of the plan if they wanted it , to the Provinces.
None opted out.
I can not find, or discuss, because I do not know, how
they rank the countrys. Is this the WHO or UN who runs
the WHO? They've been wrong in the past. Are they
right now with the rankings?
Is Europe and the EU the place to be with the best
system? or what country is number one? I even saw
this morning a UK ham posting how he nearly moved to
OZ , but was stopped by his wife, cuz she would be
faraway fom family. We did that, moving from UK
to Canada. I know the feeling. My wife Maria
came from Brasil, so she really knows what that
ham's wife is, or would have felt.
OK ... thats it. Hope we can have a great chat on
this.
